Step 1– Rate Your Energy: On a scale of one-to-ten, what’s your energy right now?
Step 2 – If you really want to make an immediate difference in a child with behavioral and/or academic concerns, simply be willing to sit with yourself and answer the following three questions:
• What is the truth about how I really feel about this child?
• What can I do attitudinally to make this situation better?
• How do I prefer that my experience with this child be?
Step 3 – When you’re done writing, rate your energy again.
